Requirements:  the student must have completed high school biology and chemistry and it is strongly recommended that he/she be enrolled in or have completed an advanced biology class.

This class is an intense course that will consist of lecture, some AP labs, and assignments meant to prepare students for the AP Biology exam or the SAT subject exam in biology.  We will have mock AP exams and learn to answer short response questions (short essay) which are 40% of the AP exam.  This course may be taken alone ($35 per month) or taken with Advanced Biology ($20 per month). A notebook and Barron’s 2009 AP Biology Review will be provided by SLT.
